Privacy Policy
Last updated November 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how House of Peace Family Care Home ("House of Peace," "we" or "us") collects, uses and protects information from people who visit houseofpeaceassistedliving.com (the "site"). We use what you share only to answer your questions, schedule tours and help your family decide whether House of Peace is a good fit. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we are
House of Peace is a family care home licensed by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (license FCL-060-184). We are located at 3505 Oriole Place, Charlotte, NC 28269, and we are a Majestic Residences home. This policy covers houseofpeaceassistedliving.com only; the Majestic Residences website has its own privacy policy. You can reach us at 704-387-5639 or houseofpeace@majesticresidences.com.
Information you give us
You can visit our site without telling us who you are. We collect personal information only when you choose to share it. You can always choose not to, although some features, such as booking a tour online, will not work without it.
Contact form. When you send us a note, we collect your name, phone number and email address. The form also asks about the type of stay you are interested in, when you hope to move, how you plan to pay for care and the monthly budget you are considering, along with anything you write in the message box.
Free Move-In Checklist. When you ask for the checklist, we collect your first name and email address.
Tour calendar. When you book a tour online, Calendly collects your name, email address, the time you choose and any answers you give on the booking form, and shares them with us.
Please do not send medical records, diagnoses or other detailed health information through the site. Share those with our team by phone or in person during the assessment.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our website host records basic technical information when you visit. This can include your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, the pages you view and the time of your visit. We use it only to keep the site running and secure. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics reports this to us in aggregate and does not tell us who you are.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Our site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies so it can tell repeat visits apart and measure which pages are used. We do not use advertising cookies. Some features on the site are run by other companies and may set their own cookies when you use them: the Calendly tour calendar, the YouTube video, the 3D tour by Giraffe360 and Google Maps.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to warn you before one is stored. If you do, some features, such as the tour calendar or the video, may not work.
How we use your information
- To call or email you back about your questions
- To schedule and confirm tours
- To talk with you about care options, availability and next steps
- To send you the Free Move-In Checklist you asked for
- To keep a record of your inquiry so we do not ask the same questions twice
- To keep our site working and secure
Emails from us
We email you only to answer your questions, confirm a tour or send something you asked for, such as the checklist. We may follow up once to see whether you have questions about your move. We do not add anyone to a marketing email list without permission. You can ask us to stop emailing you at any time.
How we protect your information
Our site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and form submissions go only to the House of Peace team. We limit who can see your information to the people who need it to help your family. No website can be completely secure, so please share sensitive details by phone.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and respond to you, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Our website host, which keeps the site online
- Our form service, which delivers contact form and checklist requests to us by email
- Calendly, which runs our tour calendar
- Google, which provides Google Analytics, YouTube, Google Maps and the fonts on our site
- Giraffe360, which runs our 3D tour
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our residents, our team or our visitors.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry, checklist and tour information for as long as it helps us respond to your family, and then delete it. If your loved one becomes a resident, their information is handled under our admission agreement and North Carolina care home record rules, not this website policy.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information you sent through our site, or ask us to stop contacting you. Call 704-387-5639 or email houseofpeace@majesticresidences.com, and we will respond within 30 days. You can also opt out of Google Analytics in any browser with Google's opt-out add-on.
Children
Our site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Links to other websites
Our site links to other websites, such as our partners, Facebook and Google. We do not control those sites, and their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
